I hear a lot of people And they all say the same "Ugh, you're from there?" And it comes with a name
I'm an "addo girl" But I don't live up to it I'm not like them But people don't give a shit
I speak properly Don't use much slang When people know where I'm from I think "dang"
My town has a reputation That isn't too good Really it's not that bad But I live "in da hood"
