Chapter 1 - Kayleigh

Oh god, no!

What had happened to my life, I wondered, and what was I going to do next? "That's easy" A voice whispered. It was the voice of a woman, sounding angel-like. Not really. Is anything ever easy? "You follow me" She said so I sat down. My mum had always called me an 'awkward cow' ... Seemed pointless to break the trend now. "Kayleigh, do not make me get Isaac to come and get you because if I do he won't be happy and then I won't be happy. With it being this close to christmas we would all prefer not to be dealing with paperwork." She sounded impatient now, tired even. I didn't budge though. She sighed. "Stubborn, that's what you are, Kayleigh. Stubborn." She said then added, "If you want to play games then fine, play games. You just won't like my jester" She was right, I didn't like her 'jester'. Isaac was huge and I am not even using the word lightly. Isaac was probably around six foot five and looked like he had taken a serious bout of steroids and looked like he could crush any bone in your body between his thumb and forefinger. And he was coming right for me. "Hey! Why call in the big guns?" I called out, jumping to my feet. She laughed lightly. "I will call off the 'big guns' if you follow me" She said. Isaac was making his way closer, intimidating me with a long cold glare from his dark eyes. Looking around, there was no way I could run, I had nowhere to go. And I couldn't hide from Isaac, he was watching me too intently. I sighed. "Fine, fine. Call him off" I half screamed, he was so close now. He stopped and stood in a disciplined stance but he kept his eyes on me. "I'll go" I said, "Just tell me where it is and what it is first" That's when I was hit on the back of my head. It was so sudden that it knocked me off my feet. It hurt too, sending a headache through my brain straight away. Then the particles in front of my eyes started to go black, I felt myself fall before nothing ...
