Fang stands beside me, draping his arm round my shoulders. He has a smug smile on his face which I would love to hit right now. He's tall so I duck away from his arm as he watches me with his dark eyes, making me feel uncomfortable.
"Aw don't be like that, Babe" Fang says.
I shudder. I HATE when people call me that and he knows it too.
"Yeah, Guys, I'm gonna go..." I let my voice trail off. I turn, call Butch then get on my skateboard. I try and get away from there as fast as I can but on the way back to my house it is mostly uphill so I give up and start walking not long later.
"Kelsy, what is your problem?" A voice calls.
Ignore, I think to myself.
"Kelsy" His stern voice says seconds later. I turn and Fang slams into me, knocking both of us to the floor and his skateboard into the road. He lands on top of me, his face inches from mine, his dark eyes watching my emerald ones.
"Don't even think about it" I say through gritted teeth. A look of disappointment crosses his face which is weird because it was like one kiss.
"You owe me a board" He grumbles as he gets to his feet. I get up and look towards the road, Fang's board is now in half. He picks up the two halves with a sad look on his face.
I shrug. "I've got loads at home if you want one?" I ask, casually.
That's when I realise that none of my friends have been to my house before because of my parents. To put it simply, I'm lucky they even let me have friends.
"Sure" Fang smiled. It's a bright smile because he knows it means that he'll get to see my house.
I have really put my foot in it this time ...
