By the time I had washed and dressed, breakfast was over so I made my way down to the kitchens with Nikah. "Naomi and Nikah, you missed breakfast again!" Cook accused, pointing a spatula at us as we came through the door. I laughed, she knew everything. "What's for breakfast then?" Nikah asked then sniffed the air. "Nothing!" A voice shot back. I laughed again at the venom in Redina's voice. "Hey, Red" I smiled, turning to look at the minoi standing in the kitchen doorway. She nodded at me, her blue eyes watching my light grey ones. Redina was Cook's minoi and she lived up to her name, being an unusual red colour. Cook and Redina had the power called Oasis. Oasis' had the power to conjure fire. They were the ones chosen to make things, which I find cool! "Pancakes?" Cook asked us as I settled into her little rocking chair in the corner of the room. She didn't wait for an answer, just started to make them with a cute little smile on her face. Not long later Delcie barged in, her normal straight light brown hair a mess and her green eyes seemed to have panic written across them. "You! Get up!" She practically shrieked at me. I did as I was told, as usual. "We'll take a rain check on those pancakes, Cook" I smiled then strolled over to Delcie. That's when I looked at her properly. Her usually tanned face was pale. That's how I knew it wasn't a fire drill ...

Running wasn't my strongest point, never had been, but with Delcie and Carmen pushing me I couldn't help but run as fast as I could, with stitch and all. "Can. We. Stop" I panted as we ran through the woods. "NO!" They both practically screamed at me. I saw Nikah roll her eyes so I let out a short huffed laugh. She was running by my side and there was a look of fear in her eyes, somehow I knew I had the same look as her. "When?" I huffed. "Soon" Carmen replied effortlessly. I had always been jealous that he could run for hours and not get out of breath at all but running on this day made me wish that I was a Gentle more than ever. Delcie growled, which she did a lot when she was annoyed, then slowed to a stop. I took it as an invitation and dropped to my knees, panting. "Fine. We rest and then run again. We need to get away" Carmen said, sitting down too. "From what?" Nikah panted. That's when the hair on the back of my neck rose, we all knew what we were running from. Nikah sensed it too, whimpered then laid on the grass beside me. "Your dad told us to get up and go. He said whenever he told us to go then we must just get up, grab you and go. Just get out of here. We know where to go too" Delcie said, hugging her Minoi round the shoulders. Her minoi was different too. She was the only minin I knew of that had a minoi of the opposite sex. Claus was light brown, like Delcie's hair, and had green eyes like her too. Claus growled, it was a habit that they both had. "We need to keep moving" He murred. "No" I said. "Where are we supposed to be going?" Carmen shook his head. "You'll see, Naomi. Just trust us" He replied. "Tell me" I demanded. He shook his head again. "You'll see" He repeated. "You'll see"
