Since I was younger I've seen my mother cry And ever since then I never understood why
Life is just so hard I can see this in her eyes When the tears burn as she cries
Her beautiful eyes full of pain I just wish that one day I could chase her troubles away
She means the world to me My best friend, mum, and everything in between I just wish that someone would see
One day I'll help her Like she's done with me I'll help her as long as she may need
I'll help her for longer As long as she's there And always in my heart, she has a permanent place there
