"Is she like the legend says?" Seth asked, moving closer to us. "What does the legend say?" I replied. He was closer to me now so I got to my knees before him. He knew I was there, I could tell he knew. "She's beautiful. Her eyes are like sapphires that light up the night's sky and her dark ash-brown hair falls perfectly to her shoulders. They said that although she's human, she is the perfect wolf and her mate is the perfect human, although he's a wolf" Seth said slowly. I looked over to Scruff, who nodded. "She is exactly the same, Seth. She is perfect" He smiled. Ignoring them, I went to Alina and Fang. Fang was still on the ground, his breathing shallow. Alina was sobbing over his body. Fang was talking to her softly. "The babies will be fine, trust me. Be brave, Alina" "No, don't you dare leave me. Don't leave me, Fang. Please don't leave me" Alina cried. Scruff was standing by my side now, his own tears threatening. He moved closer and nudged his nose into Fang's shoulder. "Go, Scruff. Take them" Fang said slowly. Scruff nodded as Alina cried out. She didn't want to leave Fang but Scruff was bigger than her, she had no choice. Me and Seth followed slowly behind. I hadn't notice how dark it had gotten but I could see fine in the dark so I used that to show Seth the way.

"Is he going to die?" Seth whispered, hugging to my leg. I looked behind, the spot where Fang was attacked was now far in the distance. "I don't know, Seth. I hope not" I replied, crying. I really did hope not. He was strong, he could make it. Couldn't he?
