A dream lays before me
Open, awake, for me to see
It's dark tonight
Gone so fast has the light
The table is set before us
We didn't make a fuss
The humidity has gone
Probably not for long
Cold wind is blowing in the air
Upon the water I stare
I would've preferred to stand there than eat
It was the perfect place for two strangers to meet
The light upon the water was pretty
Nothing about this place was gritty
Something huge during the day
And what can I say?
It was spectacular at night
