So I stood back, looked up at the sky, and smiled Being in a place so green made me feel new and wild You kissed a spot on my neck and watched me squeal Being in your arms made this all seem real Tonight I knew what would go down In your love, I would drown But I wasn't to know what you wanted to do When you said we should try something new Hide in the woods, or down by the river The look on your face did make me shiver So I ran through the woods, running from you You ran towards me, smiling as you do Where was the way out, where the trees end? What could I use if I needed to defend? You laughed and laughed, and again some more I hadn't a clue what you had in store Scared and cold, I started to slow It was then I realised that it began to snow I couldn't hear you at all now, my ears ringing loud I'd ran for so long, I knew I'd do you proud But I cried while I ran now, tired and worn out My makeup a mess and my lips a messy pout I stopped and sat, sleep wasn't here to stay When I awoke it was a bright and brand new day Woke in your arms, you cradled me so slow "You had a nightmare" You whispered.
