You didn't talk to me at school the next day. Or the day after that. Or the week after that. But at home, when your friends weren't around, you talked to me all the time. I couldn't shut you up.
It wasn't long before weird stuff started happening. Like really weird stuff.
You came round mine on a Friday. It was just a normal night. My mum was out with some friends and wouldn't be home until late. You were asleep by 9, you'd had a rough week. You snored too, it made me laugh so much that I had to leave my room, in fear of waking you up.
I went down to feed the cat. I could hear you snoring still. It made me giggle.
The back door was wide open. I didn't leave it open and you hadn't been downstairs since you turned up at my door. I remember locking that door.
"Hello?" I called out. I was turning into one of those bimbos in movies. Not like whoever it was would reply.
I locked the door quickly. Checked twice to make sure it was locked. Then went on a search for the cat. He wasn't in any of his spots so I left food down and went back up to see you.
You weren't there.
