(Rewritten version of The Angel)
They see me in the moonlight They see me in the sun I scare them at twilight But my job is never done
They see me by the graves now They see me, I'm so old I will soon spread my wings somehow And fly away from this cold
They see me by the dead tree They see me, I am there They see me as me They all stop and stare
I am the angel The one that looks over you I look over all the graves It's just something that I do
I am the angel I am old but forever there I look over the graveyard I was once called a lady fair
Feeling rusty and old now I want to spread my wings I'd love to know how I want to get out and do things
I'd love to go back home Back to my love Instead I'm in this death dome Away from my beloved
I am the angel there The one decaying and grey Please don't stop and stare I'll be gone someday
