White book sits there My initials engraved in gold It looks brand new But is 18 years old
A little bible on my bookcase I'm not religious but I keep it It was a tradition of my nan's So I'll keep it for as long as I see fit
She died before I got one So my auntie gave it to me And it sits on my bookcase There for the world to see
I prefer to think science It explains more to me I love hearing people's views But to believe I have to see
It interests me to listen "What's your take or view? Maybe if you tell me about your religion Then I will learn something new"
Some people take it too far Have a breather for a day or two I know this subject can get touchy But there is nothing we can do ...
