I lie awake at night
My thoughts drifting to only you
I wonder where you are and what you do
What would've happened if my wish came true?
Would we have been happy?
We were for a while, a short time,
But it faded with your love for me
It wilted and withered
But now time has passed
My love for you still remains
It is love for memories and things that pass
But you? No longer
Too different to hear the truth
Stubborn and crude
That's now my opinion of you
