She's the girl who doesn't care
She has no feeling you say, but she does
Different from the girl she once was
Lively
Cute
Witty
Smiles
But since, she's traveled a thousand miles
Now she's the smart one, a laughable geek
Unimportant. An unpopular freak.
Glasses
Braces
Acne
Spots
Pimples chilly goosebump dots
Books clutched tightly, ankle pants above
Not pretty enough, not worth any love
She doesn't care, but yet she she does
Different from the girl she once was.
Now up against the wall she'll lurk
She watches, knows how people work
Everyone should know, but she's a person too
She cares, and she's been feeling blue
Wishes she was regarded differently too
Get out the knife, put it back
Not yet, not worth it, won't sink down to that
You should be nice to the nerd, she cares
She has feelings too.
Not any different from me and you
Wanting
Wishing
She was accepted
Crying
Sighing
Forever affected
Don't worry, this will all change
in ten long years
When she's the CEO
