I screamed and it felt good. "Your never allowed to scream at the top of your lungs unless someone is trying to kill you." I thought. But then I looked back at Annie and I was depressed again.
I went upstairs and found Sandra frozen in her room folding sheets. I stepped in to the guest room. I flopped on to the bed and forced back the tears remembering my mum's note telling me to be strong. And then I remembered John's note and how I had agreed to meet her in the morning. "Oh no!" I said it aloud, no one else could here me so why shouldn't I?
I heard a "tap tap tap" coming from the window. I looked around and almost screamed again. There on the window sill was John! She was just siting there letting the rain pound on her head. Her arms were bare and covered in goosebumps. I ran over, opened the window as far as it could go and lifted her in. I placed her on the bed were she shivered like crazy. I ran to the closet and pulled out the softest blanket I had ever touched and warped it around John then I closed the window and sat beside her.
"Oh Jen why on earth did you come here when the rain was as heavy as this?" I asked her.
"Don't call me Jen its John!" She shivered
"Ok sorry Jen"
"Hey!"
"Ok sorry, sorry. So why did you come?"
"We decided to meet so I waited for you under the tree. After a while I guessed that you had forgotten so I came to you."
"Oh John! You shouldn't have come!"
"Oh sorry should I go then?" She asked me looking very sad
"No of course not! Come on let's go down stairs and get you something warm to drink"
"Wait what if your friend sees me?"
"Oh um yeh that's not a problem any more. She's frozen and so are her family." I told her with my head down.
"Oh sorry. Well my family are just a bunch of paintings now along with all the food. What about your family are they ok?" John asked me.
"No they're plastic dolls and all the food is plastic too."
"Ok come on then. I'm starving!" She said jumping up.
I followed her down the stairs and in to the kitchen. She noticed my limping
"What's wrong with your leg?" She asked
"I fell of the stair banister last night when I was coming to meet you."
She laughed
"Hey!" I protested.
John pulled things out of the cupboard and placed them on to the table. After a while she sat down and began to eat.
"Wow! When was the last time you ate?" I asked watching her scoff down a banana in a matter of seconds.
"Three days ago" she answers between mouthfuls.
The banana peel came too my attention.
"Hey do you know anything about this monkey that I keep meeting?"
"What the monkey that escaped from the zoo in France, where he had been locked in since last year when I took him on holidays with me, and was on the news so he hid in your friends suitcase for the trip home to Ireland and back to me and then kept running of every day for an hour then returning for dinner? No I don't think I have heard of him."

Hi everyone I have changed George's name to John because my friend had just told me that I was copying the famous five when I haven't even read the books. So John is instead of Jen which is short for Jenny which is short for Jennifer. I have changed her name in all the chapters she's mentioned in and sorry it took so long to write
@blackcat lol, a girl called John is funny! Why doesn't she like being called Jen/Jenny? Just wondering :3
I don't really know @Tizzy she's a weird kid but she is going to be very important later on in the story.
