Two For One

Two beautiful boys on her mind
Two lives waiting to be intertwined
One single choice to be made
A fragile heart, so easily swayed

Two sets of eyes, both light blue
Though differing in shade and hue
One pair, azure, infused with green
The other, steely aquamarine

On a summer day, hers match the sky
But the perfect boys have made her cry
So they're grey now in this winter light
And remain so as she weeps through the night

Two boys; a blonde and brunette
One girl, her hair tinted red
A fiery spirit struggles within
To make a choice, and find her prince

The blonde's not the angel that he seems
But he makes her heart flutter and haunts her dreams
Though he lies, tries to make her jealous
He's worth every tearful second

He with the wavy, dark brown hair
Sad and lonely, needs someone to care
And she does, more than she should
But she'd never let go, even if she could

Two hearts wait to be broken
Though both remain hopeful 'til she has spoken
Perhaps hers is the one they must save
But which knight could be that brave?
