The gale howled around the towering grey structures
It's cruel voice rustling leaves on a nearby tree
It was dim here in the unlit street
A single street lamp cast long eerie shadows over the uneven pavement
I could feel eyes staring at me, their glare piercing my skin
I heard a bloodcurdling scream it reverberated off the plain buildings before being whipped away by the wind
I sprinted towards the sound and saw a chilling sight
Someone or something was crouched in the alley
A person stood rigid against the wall their t-shirt stained with blood
The creature in the alley turned and glowered at me
It had blood red eyes, dripping red fangs, and thick black fur
We stood staring at each other for what felt like hours
With a ragged howl it pounced jaw open displaying sharp teeth its eyes blazing
I woke with a start
I was covered in sweat and shaking
I was alone
