The next day was alive. The party was amazing and Ryan was actually here, so was Jesse. I was in a pastel pink dress with my brunette hair tied in a cerulean ribbon.
Then came the main dance. Ryan and I were graceful in the moves and steps.
It was great until I saw a figure leaning against the exit hall, depressed.
Jesse.
I the ran toward him leaving everyone confused.
"Jesse, wait up, what's wrong?" I called to him.
Jesse turned around and answered
"Jonah, it's just because I...I," But instead of finishing, he leaned over and kissed me. He then left, leaving me confused.
I then took out the slip and opened it.
It was a video of me and Jesse dancing, Ryan not in sight. Now I know. I flipped over the slip to reveal a small sentence.
"Ryan already has a girlfriend"
I then turned angry but not at Jesse or the message, but at Ryan.
Then I knew. Tomorrow, things will be right.
