The peaceful morning chirp of the birds was broken by loud hooves on the frosted ground. Florentina Di Maggio , princess of Angoria, stalked the golden stag through the forrest, followed closely by stable hand, Felix Ashground. The two horses and their riders were close on the tail of the hunted animal. Florentina let go of both reins, taking an arrow from its quiver. She pulled back the bow, narrowing her eyes for a better shot, and let go. The arrow flew through the air like a bird in flight. The horses halted and the arrow pierced the targets back and it fell to the ground.
