Wanted to tell someone about my... Um... Eventful day, so here it is!!
It started when I woke up (As you do) and went downstairs, to the toilet. (As you do) When I flushed the toilet, it made a lot of weird noises. However, I thought nothing of it, and proceeded to get some breakfast and do my homework. About half an hour later, my dad came and told me that the downstairs toilet was broken. At this I looked away and pretended that nothing had ever happened. My dad then gave me instructions NOT to flush the upstairs toilet, because he was going to turn the water off. While he was doing this, I wasn't really listening, and you know what I did next? Went and flushed the upstairs toilet. I was half way through washing my hands when I realised what a mistake I had made, so I ended up fleeing the bathroom with very soapy hands. With no water, I couldn't get it off so instead decided to rub it off with a towel. This didn't work and I ended up with soapy hands and a soapy towel. Eventually, after scrubbing my hands with a few wipes, I came downstairs with soap-free hands. My dad told me that something strange had happened with the toilet (I wonder how that happened?...) and we would have to go to Homebase to get a new toilet part. So we set out to the magical land of Homebase. Luckily nothing really happened on the way there, apart from me being bored. Whilst we were looking through the aisles, I started to sing rather loudly. A woman walked past and looked at my rather oddly. I was okay with this until I realised that she was a teacher at my school. I then blushed a lot and ran away to another aisle. After we had found the toilet part, we decided to walk home the long way. Me and my brother then started a competition, that whoever could find the longest grass stem would win. So we were there, sword fighting with these huge bits of grass when some cyclists come past. I shout, "Cyclists!" in a really weird high pitched voice. Then I realise one of the cyclists is a boy in my class. This results in me blushing and smiling awkwardly. After tea, I decided to clean and put together the hamster cage. Let's just say that it didn't go too well, and ended up with a sawdust covered floor and a very sawdust covered me.
