I came to an abrupt stop at the bank of a river, panting furiously, adrenaline rushing through my veins. Phillip came up behind me and nuzzled my shoulder, resting his head on my back. My heart turned a somersault. Startled, I transformed and sat down. Isadora bounded up to us and transformed, closely followed by Phillip. We sat there, breathing heavily, hearts pumping, on the forest floor for several minutes. I stared at Phillip, taking in every detail, his muscular arms, his beautiful chestnut eyes, his perfectly tousled hair. Isadora stood up, hands on hips and said;

"We better set up camp here. We're to far out for my mum's warriors to reach us and there's a clean water supply." She gestured towards the river. I nodded, standing up to gather firewood. "I'll just go and get some wood for the fire." I said. The woods instantly swallowed me up as I walked away from the others. Sounds I had never heard before filled my ears, enveloping me in a blanket of noise. I walked some more, until I found the perfect spot, a clearing full of dry branches. Soon my arms were full with wood, and I began to walk back the way I came from. Suddenly, I heard a shout from the camp. Something was wrong. Very wrong.
