He lent against the railings, letting the sea breeze blow over him, clearing his thoughts and soothing his headache. Clattering and shouting wafted up from the kitchen, creating a gentle background noise that he knew would continue throughout the night, as his fellow waiters tried desperately to satisfy the tourists. He sighed. The day's events had been too much to handle, even for him. A woman and her husband had a row in the tea room, which ended in spilled wine and smashed plates. He, being the newbie here, was left to clean up and apologise to the startled family who had been caught up in the row. The sea raged below him and it reminded him of the woman. Her name was... Eloise. Even now he could see a vivid picture of her glossy auburn hair and her chocolate brown eyes, glassy with anger. The way she had such belief and passion in the words she said. He admired her, perhaps a bit like the way a artist admires his subjects. He found inspiration in her, and for some reason felt guilty for what had happened to her.

Still need to think of an ending!
