My shadow hits my feet, Lives like a deathly partner Earth leeching out my life Slowly, oh so slowly, through it
Cannot get away from my shadow will forever be a part ofme stuck to me, as an omen
An omen that only departs When my bones turn to dust and float away on the night air, releasing my soul and my memory to the next of ages.
