Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen Rudolph and Santa and All of the elves Teddies and Merchandise Lining the shelves Stockings Hanging Right by the fire All of The things You don't need but desire Parcels and Presents Sat under the tree Tinsel And baubles Placed decoratively The story Of Jesus And his royal birth Merriness And joy And unending mirth Mary and Joseph and The shining star The shepherds And kings That came from afar The presents Brought for The newborn king 'Hark the Herald Angels Sing' 'Jingle Bells' 'Silent Night' Holly And twinkling Christmas lights Dinner with Turkey and Gravy and sprouts Not one in The family Will go without There's baileys To go with The Christmas pudding There's presents To open And carols to sing The children Are bouncing Right off of the walls They think They can hear Their presents call They're desperate to know What they've gotten this year What he's Put by the tree While he's been there They gasp At the presents And wow at the toys Dolls for the Girls And cars for the boys They're worn out and Tired From a long Christmas Day No carols Unsung No games left unplayed They go up To bed And fall quickly to sleep They're weary and Fall into A slumber that's deep They dream of next Christmas And all that it brings Carols and Angels and Christmassy things Teddies and Toys Sat under the tree And they dream… And they dream…
