22 February 2013
I was home alone on that fateful day, When I began to go dizzy- I began to sway.
I didn't know if the neighbours were out- So I started to call, I started to shout.
My eyes went fuzzy, and everything went black, But before long I was resuscitated back.
My neighbour had heard my frightened bawl, And picked up the phone- she knew who to call.
They were there in an instant with their car and their van, They asked me stand up, you know, if I can.
I stood and fell, my knees gave way- And I was hauled onto some large metal tray.
They chucked me in the back of the van, And my mum was called, oh how she ran.
The doc said I was terminally ill, There was nothing to cure it- no medicine or pill.
I laid and I thought, what a life I had had, Everything perfect, then suddenly goes bad.
Nothing can ever, Last forever.
