The huge metal door slide open. Dust flies up from the floor as if the doors hadn't been open in centuries. Tony coughs as he mistakenly inhales a huge waft of dust, he feels the thick dust course through is lungs as it makes him splutter up little bits off blood. He covers his mouth with his cloth which is patterned in his Thomson family tarten and runs through the thick dust knowing that "they" were behind him. He runs about three quarters of a mile before he finds it safe to take his cloth away from his house. Tony looks around for a bit, admiring the architecture and decoration around him, for as far as he can see there is a equal line of gold vases, covered in diamonds and red gems on either side of the hall. The hall itself his huge, It could fit a giant in it Tony thinks to himself. At the side of the hall there is a weird design of a knight on a horse, attacking a half man half snake creature, Tony is intrigued by the design and stares at it for a prolonged amount of time. He stares for long enough that he notices that the is writing on the wall under it, it says "momento mori", Tony takes a while to figure out what it means, but he gets it "Remember your mortality", he stands there think how the picture links with the quote but he dose not have time to think because he hears two distant voices getting closer "there he is, I can see him. Get him!" Tony runs, he knows that he's much more faster then his fatter pursuers. Tony eventually runs for about 4 miles without stop, Tony was able to do this because he had became an school athlete in the cross country, he won gold in every sports day in the last 3 years and he also came 2nd in the Scottish nationals. After he stopped running he just began to stroll knowing that his pursuers were surely really far behind. He started to approach a large circle room with a single pillar in the middle, on each side of the pillar (north, east, south and west) there was a dial, each could turn to a different colour, either red, blue, green or yellow, but not the same as any other of the dials. Tony played about with the dials for a while until he started to lose interest, he looked around to find away out of this room, but he could only see the door that he came through, no other way out. While looking around the room he notices displaced looking slates adjacent to the dials, he runs over to see what they are. He pulls the slate to find a mirror at the other end of the slate, he looks down to also notice a small beam of green light coming out going in the south direction. He runs over to the east side to find the exact same set up except its a blue light going west, he goes to the west side to find a yellow light going east with the mirror on the slate then he goes to the south side to find the same set up but a red light going north. He figures it out. He turns each dial corresponding to the beam adjacent to it. But nothing happens. He checks each beam twice over and each dial twice more. He thought he had it, Tony takes the time to think......he wonders why there were mirrors on the slate, he gets it, "when the mirrors on the slate, on the wall it reflects the beam of light back and makes it shine the opposite way. He runs up to the dials with much enthusiasm. He makes the necessary changes to the dials, making them the colour the direction they face when being deflected. A small stone door which completely blended in slowly started to open as Tony changed the final dial. Tony wasted no time and before the door even opened completely, he had crawled under the door. Tony tried to remember how he got in this anciant ruins while he slowly trufed along another isometric corridor. He rememers being chased and he ran into the nearest shelter he could find, which was an old abandoned mineshaft which no one was aloud to go near, no matter go wandering around in but Tony seen it appropriate seeing that he was being chased. While in the mineshaft he leaned on a stone in a small room and the floor gave in under him, there was a soft landing as he feel into water. Tony finds it amazing on how persistant his persueres are actually being. Theve followed him through a forbinden area, down a gaping hole, throw miles of coridoor. They were persistant, Tony had to give them that. After thinking for so long Tony hadn't realised that he reached a stop. A single door. Huge in stature, looked like there was no way to open it. Tony spend ages trying to find a button or a lever. Hoping to open it and find riches and wonders inside. He moved vases. Press every slate on the wall in a sensible radius, but nothing. No movement, no sound not even a indication on how to open it. Tony sat down, directly in front of the door, staring blankly at it. Thinking on how to open it but his mind started to wander. He began to think how he had not seen any thing else alive in this weird place, he didn't expect down here to be a living environment but he expected there to be carcuses at least. Then he came to a haste conclusion. He is the only person to be this far in a long time. He says this because no one could come here and not say anything about this place. Its just too simply amazing. At that moment someone grabs Tony's shoulder. Tony shoots round and looks the person. The person stares at Tony and smiles, after a couple of seconds he lets out a hefty chuckle, the other person joins him. This person then shouts..........

"Caught you!" in a very high, piercing voice, this persons real voice that is. Tony starts to laugh aswell. Tony shouts in a happy, excited tone "well that was the weirdest game of tag I've ever had!" They all laugh. The people following Tony were just his friends, Fred and Wilbert playing tag with each other. Fred says in a worrying tone as he peers down at his watch, "hey guys, we should go home, my mams going to kill me now that im this late." They start to walk back through the corridor they spent so long treking through and Tony looks back, knowing that he will come back and explore some more. Another day, another adventure.
