Your arms encased around me. I wad home again. Where I always wanted to be.
My ear up against your chest, I hear your heart beat, in rhythm with mine.
Music.
Your heart beats music.
"I love you..." I want to whisper ever so sweetly in your ear.
Almost as if you heard, you pulled away.
Scared. My heart pounded. My mind raced.
You tilted my chin up, staring deep into my eyes with your own soft brown.
"I love you..." your voice rumbles.
And in that sweet moment, you pull me close again, but this time your lips meet mine.
A kiss.
A sweet and tender kiss of your love, your affection just for me.
And I return it, kissing you back.
