Hikaru lived with his father in Japan. Since his father was such a big time business man he was always in meetings and
therefor never home. Being left at home alone little Hikaru shut everyone and everything out. He only cared about himself and could careless about what others thought of him. At Ouran Academy Hikaru never had any friends and was failing most of his classes, in fact he could've cared less about school.
