An Ode To The 80's

MTV and rock star jeans,
With madonna, prince and Queen.
We loved their styles, their songs and tastes.
But some of our clothing - what a waste!
The fingerless gloves and bangled wrists,
Whilst Dallas took some very strange twists.
We moonwalked into Michael's songs,
And Kiss continued with their tongues.
The shoulder pads and spandex skirt,
And such high heels designed to hurt.
Power suits and designer makes.
A whole new industry based on fakes.
It's fair to say the 80s rocked,
Our outfits often bright and shocked.
Suits and t-shirts- who'd have thought,
Miami vice is what we bought.
The 1980's what a place,
I'll leave you with just one word - Ace!!!!!
