We all know the metaphor, So what on earth's it really for? The good ones help to illustrate, The bad ones, we all love to hate. Some can easily bring a smile, Some stick with you for a while. Why we need them, no-one knows, They keep the writer on their toes. The metaphor's a language trait, So let's set the record straight. Why do we continue to suffer, Like a Train and carriage without a buffer.
