Waiting is a difficult occupation
Time should never be wasted,
And time waits for no man.
But it feels like time has stood still.
Seconds last for minutes,
Patience is running thin.
The frustration builds,
The clock grinds to a halt.
The distance between present and future seems to increase,
History seems like a lifetime ago.
