Chapter Two: They're coming for us.
~Kayla's POV~
I'd just finished looking around the house and I already didn't like it. "What'd you think of it?" I ran up to Ariana after laying Mary down in the bedroom, although I really didn't want to leave her there. "I think it's....I HATE IT, GRR!" She stomped off and I heard her and mum shouting, "MUM I HATE IT, IT'S RANK!" "Here is the best we can get! It may not be up to your standards though, but at least it's a home." Mum stated trying to sound calm and not shout,mi think she calmed Ariana though, I wasn't too sure. "Fine. But anything scary I'm leaving!" She walked out of the kitchen and out onto the busy streets, there was snow falling so I decided to go to bed.
THE NEXT DAY AT MIDNIGHT...
~Ariana's POV~
After mine and mums fight, well not fight, discussion, I guess it out my hopes up, I know this...Place, isn't the best, but it's sort of like home, the home we left was big this is big? Maybe it could work.
"Mum?" I got up and went to get a drink, although I heard noises coming from the living room so I thought it was mum. "Mum?" I walked down the tall staircase with ripped black carpeting and looked around as my feet touched the pale black tiles on the ground floor I shivered. "Mum, are you down here?" I croaked as I got some water and walked upstairs, my glass was literally knocked out of my hand as I was going up the steps, I gasped. "Hello?" I stuttered as I whipped my head round to see who's there. "Hello?" I repeat, but it was nothing. I sighed, I guess I'm just paranoid because I'm scared of the house, I could have just dropped the glass. "Oh well." I stated sighing again as I dried up the water and picked up the broken glass, I suddenly wasn't thirsty anymore so I headed too bed, long night THIS will be!
