~Becky's POV~

I was gently shook awake to see my little sisters green eyes gleaming down at me and I smiled. "Morning sweetie" I hated my morning voice. She giggled. "It's school today." She patted my head and smoothed down my crazy hair that I always get in the morning and I hugged her. "Go get ready then, remember call me to do your hair and look your smartest!" She giggled and ran away on her little legs. I smiled and thought for a second... 'How lucky I am to have such an amazing beautiful sister!' I forced myself out of bed and ran my fingers through my knotty hair as I walked into the kitchen and poured out some Cheerios into the bowl and ate them before Rosa come running down the stairs, well more stepping because she couldn't really RUN, the stairs are too far spaced apart, she skipped up to me with her Barbie hairbrush in her hands and looked at me. I chuckled as I brushed her short curly blonde hair as I handed her back the brush and she laid it next to the stairs. "Do you have everything?" She looked around and gasped. "MY PONY BAG!" She opened the gate to the stairs and crawled up step by step then came jumping down with her pony bag filled to the top with books and homework sheets she needed to hand in. "You ready?" I held her hand as we walked to school and she nodded. "What was it like when you went to school?" We were almost at the school gates. "Oh it was really different from how this is." I said pointing to the tall church building with a flag and big green doors. I looked around at all the children from 1-5 years old all running happily around. I kissed her head. "Have fun, don't get into trouble! You know how mum wouldn't like it!" She looked sad when I said anything about our mum, so I hugged her. "I know you didn't get to meet her but she was a very nice lady." I felt Rosa nod under me and she waved off to me as I saw her run up to her friends. I'm so glad Rosa didn't turn out like me, god knows where she'll be if she did, smiling I walked home occasionally humming a tune to the birds and enjoying the summer sun.
