Frisky baby lizards
Run and skip and play
Dandelions in the breeze
Twist and stretch and sway
Glossy liquid amber leaves
Tremble, whip and shake
Knotted branches on the trees
Quiver, shift and quake
Brown needles on a branch
Loosen, flip and drop
Old pinecones from the tree
Fall, nestle and stop
Birds flying in the air
Swoop and dive and twitter
Butterflies on the wind
Dart, alight and flitter
Multi-colored flowers
Grow and bloom and thrive
Frogs by a clear cool pond
Sit and hop and dive
Morning dewdrops on the grass
Glint and shine and glow
Busy ants on the ground
Work and crawl and go
Sunlit fairies in the air
Dance and spin and twirl
While I lie here in the grass
And love my little world.
