A revision of my earlier post "Recently". Man I really needed to try harder. ~~~~~~~~~~~
Some dark things I see Remind me I'm not alone. We all run for cover and hide From the demons in our home.
Stand down! I warn you In darkened breath I will not weaken Until you are put to rest.
Stand down! I have forces You can't comprehend You be defeated My God will defend.
Stand down! Not a chance To be had in this place You will not prevail I've been cleansed His grace.
Stand down! He protects me He will pound you down like thunder The power of my God No force can asunder.
Stand down! I command you I have God on my side. He will not let His child Be tormented and hide.
So stand down, I'm free You have no control Your time of experiments Has taken its toll
Stand down. I'm free Totally free from your grasp. My God, my comforter, Forever His hand I clasp.
