Subconciously inspired by Robert Frost's "Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening" (I realized it towards the end).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ White trees filling up vast space Stretching all across this place Birch-bark branches against snow Fading in without a trace.
Winter branches bare of leaves Reaching high up past the eaves Sepia scratches on the trunks Look like giant bear claw cleaves.
The winter sky of clearest blue Cloudless on the morning dew Pale sun on branches shines Light gold sunbeams streaking through.
Fresh pawprints in powder show A fox steals by, I watch it go Its bushy tail disappears Over banks of sparkling snow.
As I turn, a cardinal lights On a branch of paper white Awestruck as the ruby bird Stares back at me from the heights.
It's still and quiet in this wood And I would stay here if I could But day has dawned, I must depart I'm called by life, and go I should.
