"The stars are jealous. Everyone knows it." "I think they're beautiful." "Of course you do. As I've said before, you find the beauty in everything. No, stars are jealous. Beautiful they may be, but they're vain. They all want to be the most beautiful; they all want to be the brightest. That's why they twinkle so much, they're all trying so hard to be the brightest. "That's why the moon doesn't twinkle. It doesn't exert any energy, it just sits there watching, because it knows it outshines them all."
