Shining out its jewel lights in the rearview mirror.
I was just a young girl in love Falling for your charms, Looking into your icy eyes, Enveloped in your arms.
I was wearing an elegant ruby scarf As we sat in your '67 And the snow fell softly outside Chilling flakes from heaven
But we were warm in the car, A fire had been lit, You took my scarf off to touch my neck And playfully, quickly bit.
I remember the look of my scarf on the dash, Scarlet against the falling snow Behind it golden Christmas lights Giving off a cheery glow.
I remember well the colors of the lights, the hideous elf in the shop window too, The Christmas song on the radio, but most of all I remember you.
