25-Moreover, I gave them statutes that were not good and rules by which they could not have life 26-And I defiled them through their very gifts in their offering up their firstborn that I might devastate them. I did it that they might know I am the lord.
.. Think this is one of the most damning quotes in the bible!
If you believe in this god then must you accept that he gives bad laws (by his own admission) and lets his children murder their innocent children to prove a point (ie he can)! If he admits he has given statutes that are not good, how can he be described as perfect or that all he does is good? Furthermore, he admits his statutes include bad ones.. Which ones and who can trust that others are infallible?
