A young lady with the world opening it's door Stepping over threshold to find truth and more Already aware of so much adults haven't found yet Values friendship and knowledge, a soul not to forget
A sponge soaking up all that life can offer Has the spirit to answer all that is asked of her Our future is in safe hands if the teens of today Are as compassionate and thoughtful in the same way
A human, a hero, a pupil and tutor No superhuman powers just to suit her None needed we all have the power She stands strong, cometh the hour
Tragedy strikes and pain felt for others A pure soul taken from grieving mother Empathy so strong, there for her family A lesson to be learnt by you and by me
Stand in silence and 'listen to the wind' to find Hold your breath to hear the 'emerging minds' Everyone needs a guru to lead through the pain This is my dedication to a girl called Hafsah and the guru called Ian
