Mrs starts radiotherapy on Monday. Four weeks, five days a week.. Last phase for now, and while not as invasive as the others will be a struggle. Emotionally, physically, and financially.
Kids are back to school in three weeks time, so they will be in school during the latter weeks. They are going to Blackpool with the in laws in two weeks.
Next week they were supposed to travel to Ireland to stay with my folks. However, no airlines offer a babysitting service between Scotland and Ireland (Scotland -London - Ireland only?!). Also the ferry is now £400 return ffs!!!!!
I've never felt so far away from my family :(
Anyhow.. My mum has jumped on a plane instead and spending the next few days with us :)
Hard to explain how soothing it is just to have her here!
Right I'm off to open a bottle of merlot, hopefully I'll get a couple of posts up over the next few days :)
