Just back from the doctor to get what is probably my final 8 week line. There's something about that tiny room that brings down my defences and pretences. A few well aimed questions and I'm blubbering again.. Grrrr!!
Anyhow, I guess it's good to talk, apart from not feeling any better!! My bosses are coming this evening for a home visit. They have been so supportive, massaging the books to get me a few months off before I had to officially go sick. So it's a day of dusting and hoovering in preparation.
Mrs continues to be inspirational, coping with it all with a smile and a laugh. Looking amazing and almost back to my wee wifey :)
We had a few plans for the hols with the kids, but predictably thats all been changed. We were hoping radiotherapy would start when they go back to school as its 5 days a week for 4 weeks. We got word it starts next week!! So now we have to figure out how to give them a summer holiday, I'm hoping they can go to Ireland to stay with my folks but it would appear airlines don't take kids unsupervised and dont offer babysitting services on short flights :(
Thought I would give this little update as I haven't mentioned it in a while.. (And that was one of the initial reasons I downloaded Opuss in first place..) Been too busy posting lines!!
I'm off to make a bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding, potato bread roll.. Have a happy day people.. There is very little point in having any other type ;)
