To shut them up I can't press snooze
It nearly enough to drive me to booze
Complete the daily ritual of school run
Smiling Stepford wives make a good impression
Then back to bed for a crafty nap
Need forty winks cos I feel like crap
Curtains drawn to banish light
Timing required to get it right
For as soon as I drift off to dream
A little boy will start to scream
Tonight for sure, it's early to bed
I need twelve hours to recharge my head
