Walking through the ward, seeing the elderly, infirm and sick was pretty raw.
Then turning into mrs' ward and seeing her wired up with tubes attached made my stomach lurch.
But then she woke and looked at us and smiled.
Then she began joking and laughing.
That's when I knew everything was going to be good. The same. X
