A young man with nowhere to go but a head full of sin, Wanting to make his way, to seize the day and he knew just where to begin.

One fateful night under a silvery moon the youngster made his move, Earth, water and fire in circle of chalk, he hoped the devil would approve.

Rumbling clouds gathered above his head as upon the ground his blood was shed, Lightning struck and sulphur bubbled, the boy's legs felt like lead.

A mighty crack tore the earth in two, as evil found the night, A man in a suit of red lifted his horned head and howled in delight.

'Boy you just opened a can of worms and I'm gonna feed you to them, And when you think the pain will stop, I'll start all over again'

The boy stood his ground and his voice was found, through his mounting fear, 'Lucifer I want it all and I'll sell my soul even though it'll cost me dear.'

Well Satan licked his lips with a forked tongue and put the boy on his knee, 'Kid, you just said the magic words. The world is yours but you will love no one but me.'

'From this day forth you can be anything your heart desires, But don't forget when your time is done you'll be worm food in my fires.'

Lightning struck once more, knocking the boy from the devil's embrace, When he stood up the devil was gone leaving not a single trace.

Many years passed and the boy grew to be a man who always landed on his feet, Success went to his head and he believed that he could not be beat

Full of pride, to himself denied the night the devil made his pact, The reality became a childish dream rather than a fact.

Despite having all he thought he wanted, he grew tired of being alone, A restless heart, a dog without a bone, he wanted a love to call his own.

The man stopped trying to win and living in sin, he found a woman who saw his worth, She said he was her soulmate but this romance fulfilled his curse.

The day soon came when his fractured heart was healed by their love so pure, He uttered the words she had longed to hear and the devil grinned too for sure.

The couple stood in a romantic glade when the devil called in his debt, he said 'boy your job is done' Satan laughed and danced with glee 'I told you kid you could only love me, now I've two souls for the price of one.'
