This series of Opusses (which I have decided to rename Oposts, to suggest brevity and fact, rather than fiction or poems) will now chart the development of two fantasy novels. Yes, you did hear me correctly. Two!
Now, you may be thinking that two novels, of very different stories and worlds, might be too difficult for a sixteen year old boy to undertake, and that one is bound to fall by the wayside, but I am determined not to let that happen. What I intend to do is when I grow bored of one, as they are so very different, I move to the other, and continue to alternate between them as time goes on.
Now, to my news. With my original story, the one with long chapters, I am nearing the end of chapter two, and am on my 35th page. My new story, which consists of short(er) chapters is now halfway through chapter two after just one day of writing (and not even a solid day at that). That's about ten pages in. I think I will strive to finish the second chapter of my original novel (known as Novel A for future reference) and my other, the new one with shorter chapters, does have a title, but I don't think I am going to reveal it yet. Until I find a name for Novel A and so they both have names, the new one shall be known, rather obviously, as Novel B.
So, that's my news on the Fantasy Novel Front. Thanks for reading, and I will try and keep you up to date, and reveal little trickles if information to keep you on tenterhooks , or that's the intention at least. Anyway, it's late and my eyes are blurring through tiredness. Farewell, until my next report!
