It is currently that time of the morning (7:15) that you're too excited to get back to sleep, but it's too early to wake your parents, so I'm filling time really, but nevertheless this will hopefully still be a reasonable bit of writing.
I don't know about you but I have a rotten cold, which also doesn't help with sleep. I am excited, it's true, but if I wasn't so ill I might have tried for another hour's sleep. As I've had a fitful night as it is I've given up on that an have just read Father Christmas by Raymond Briggs. Unfortunately I almost sneezed all over my copy but I managed to save it. :/
However, I am sure that after I've got washed and dressed I will be back in a reasonable shape to be able to appreciate my presents.
