In case you've been living outside Britain or on Mars, Scotland is seeking independence. However Westminster is making them perform their referendum at an earlier date than the SNP (Scottish National Party), the party in power would like. That's the facts. Here's my debate.
I, being English (Leytonstone, London, by birth) would rather Scotland remained part of the UK. Also, living so close to the border, many people have to go to and from work in England, and independence would cause an increase in rail fares (already the most expensive in the world!) to pay the toll to cross the border.
I would like to hear other peoples views (if they have them) and hear if people outside Britain have heard much about it.
