My parents are speaking,chatting,laughing, While I have headphones on,staring. I'm staring out a window, Watching the world fly by.
Homes,signs,people, Even planes whiz by. Other cars lag by or persevere forward, A race through the screen and a window.
My parents chat on,laugh,storytelling, While I am rocking out,silently. I have given the window nothing but attention, Yet the window gives me a view of the world.
