Contrary to popular belief; Cats are not domesticated animals.
Dogs are.
Dogs can be trained to do stuff and adapt to domesticated captivity to the point where they would be useless fending for themselves.
Cats are not like this.
Cats are not in domesticated captivity.
They put up with our stroking and nonsense in return for food but other than that they do as they please.
At worst they may even look at there 'owners' wishing they were big enough to eat them too.
