Today I attended a dementia training day (I look after people suffering from mental illness during the night) and I have to admit, I am a tad freaked out by some of the early signs... Losing your keys on more or less a daily basis IS a perfectly normal thing to do isn't it? However, I overcame that problem a couple of years ago by leaving my keys in the ignition of the car and the car unlocked... Saves me a good half an hour a day searching. I don't lock my doors when I go out as I'm fed up of having to either break the door down, smash, or get wedged half-in-half-out of a window whilst waiting for a neighbour to rescue me, after realising I've yet again forgotten my keys! And isn't it perfectly acceptable to wake up in the morning and after making coffee (bear in mind it's the first coffee!) go to put the kettle back in the fridge?... Please tell me I'm not alone here!!!
